The College of Engineering is excited to welcome back the Class of 1962 for your 60th Reunion on September 22,23, 24 and 25, 2022 for a weekend of memories and celebrating all that you have accomplished.

REUNION SCHEDULE

THURSDAY SEPT 22: Hotel Check-in

  • Starting at 3:30 PM Holiday Inn Express - University: Come early, get settled and kick off your shoes to before the fun begins.

THURSDAY SEPT 22: Bernoulli's Pub & Registration

  • (Optional) 7:00 PM at Holiday Inn Express - University (HALL A): Come to for a refresher course on the Bernoulli fluid lab - better known as, enjoy some drinks and with your classmates while catching up. You can also collect your name tag and welcome package at this time.

FRIDAY SEPT 23: Tours of the College with the SESS

  • 10:00 AM Explore the College of Engineering building, with tours being provided by students. See how the college has grown, learn about what students experience today and discover how the campus has changed over the years.

FRIDAY SEPT 23: Engineering Student Team - Meet & Greet

  • 11:00 - 11:45 AM AT THE HARDY LAB: From the Quarter Space Tractor Team to the University of Saskatchewan Space Team join in demos with our amazing student teams. 

FRIDAY SEPT 23: Lunch with Engineering Class of 1962 Student Award Recipients

  • 12:30 PM AT LOUIS' (formerly The MUB):  Curious about the impact of your giving? Meet and chat with recent Class of 1962 Student Award recipients to hear firsthand how they have been impacted by you and your gifts.

FRIDAY SEPT 23: Presentation and Tour with VIDO Director and CEO, Dr. Volker Gerdts

  • 2:30 PM AT VIDO:  At the forefront of vaccine and infectious disease research, join VIDO's Director and CEO for a tour of the facility and presentation on how VIDO works to develop solutions to our world's problems through vaccine and technology development.

 FRIDAY SEPT 23: College of Engineering Hard Hat Ceremony

  • 5:30 - 8:00 PM AT PRAIRIELAND PARK: Join College of Engineering's second year students as they take part in the honourary ceremony of receiving their discipline specific hard hat.

SATURDAY SEPT 24: RE-ENGINEERED First Year Lab Tour and Presentations

  • 11:00 AM AT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING: The best way to learn is by doing. Join the first-year RE-ENGINEERED team for an interactive lab demonstrations.

SATURDAY SEPT 24: Dean's Lunch

  • 12:30 PM AT THE HARDY LAB: Come to meet Dr. Suzanne Kresta, Dean of the College of Engineering, for a conversation about her vision for the college and how you can be a part of it.

SATURDAY SEPT 24: College Lab Tour and Research Discussion

  • (Optional) 1:30 - 2:30 PM AT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING: We're not only on the cutting edge of engineering education but we're leading the way in research as well. Hear from our best and brightest grad and post-doc candidates on their research.

SATURDAY SEPT 24: Memory Lane Banquet Dinner

    5:00 PM AT THE RIVERSIDE COUNTRY CLUB: Enjoy a delicious dinner, set at the beautiful Riverside Country Club. Be ready to walk down memory lane and hear what everyone has been up over the past 60 years!

SUNDAY SEPT 25: Farewell Brunch

  • 10:00 AM AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS - UNIVERSITY (HALL A & B): So long, farewell and see you soon. No one likes goodbyes, but at least this one comes with breakfast and a hot cup of coffee.
